J. Verbruggen Trucking Ltd., a family owned and operated bulk transport provider that was founded in 1979 when the owners, John and Diane Verbruggen purchased their first truck. John and Diane incorporated the company in 1984 and J. Verbruggen was officially born. The company was founded on the principles of customer service and satisfaction. Principles they still hold true today. Our customers can rest assured that our entire team is committed to a safe, healthy work environment.

Our Local
J. Verbruggen Trucking Ltd. is proud to support the communities where we live and work. A major part of that support is our involvement with local youth sports. Through sponsorships of multiple youth teams, we are pleased to help young athletes participate in organized sports, develop their skills, build teamwork, and stay connected with their communities.
Our community involvement also extends into the trucking industry. J Verbruggen Trucking has supported the Special Olympics Ontario Truck Ride for over 10 years, an annual event that brings professional drivers, Special Olympics athletes, families, and supporters together while raising funds for Special Olympics Ontario community programs.

Bunker and Liquid Asphalt
J Verbruggen Trucking also provides specialized transportation for bunker products and liquid asphalt from our Union operation.
This service is supported by dedicated 4-axle tanker equipment and experienced drivers with knowledge of major loading facilities. Our team understands that these products require careful coordination, dependable equipment, and attention to safe handling throughout the transportation process.
We work closely with customers to coordinate loading, transportation, and delivery requirements while maintaining the reliable service and communication expected from J Verbruggen Trucking.
Fuel Transportation
Fuel transportation is a major part of J Verbruggen Trucking’s operations. Our fuel delivery services operate from Union, Napanee, and Halifax, supported by dedicated equipment, experienced professional drivers, and around-the-clock dispatch.
Our current operation includes approximately 50 dedicated B-trains and 4- and 5-axle trailers, supported by approximately 55 dedicated drivers. With 24-hour dispatch and deliveries available seven days a week, our team is equipped to support customers with consistent and dependable fuel transportation.
